A letter written to my great grandfather, Judge J.W.F. Allen, on May 2, 1861, twenty days after the first shots of the Civil War rang out at Fort Sumpter, SC. by leading members of Virginia government asking him to come there and speak to the citizens about the war. Thirty-nine citizens signed this letter. Now, there are 40 signatures. I am his great grandson and artist.
I am a retired science instructor, scuba instructor, successful business owner, and a photographer. I occassionally teach Photoshop and photography at a local college. I enjoy photographing life!
